Over the course of decades, Jordan Brand has brought back several of the Air Jordan 1’s most popular colorways, from the “Chicago” all the way to the “Neutral Grey.” The “Metallic Pack,” however, hasn’t seen much love outside of a few Retros back in 2016 and 2017 and a spiritual successor in 2021’s “Court Purple.” And while there’s zero word on if or when they’ll ever look back on the collection, the Jumpman is using similar materials for releases such as this Air Jordan 1 Mid.
Materials aside, this Air Jordan 1 Mid more closely resembles the OG “Royal,” as it uses similar tones albeit in completely different color blocking. “Royal Blue” is applied throughout the base — i.e. the toe box, mid-panel, and collar — much of which is treated to a metallic finish. The Wings Logo stamped onto the side follows suit, contrasting the flatter appearance of the blacked out overlays and lace unit as well as the white/blue midsole.
For a closer look at this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid, look ahead. Pairs are likely to be made available soon through both Nike.com as well as select retailers.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 13 Black Flint surfaced late last week.
