While heavily focused on the Superstar’s 50th Anniversary, adidas has not forgotten about its other products – namely the the Ultra Boost, NMD and Nite Jogger. And given that these three models boast collaborations with Beyoncé’s IVY PARK and Disney, among (many) others, it’s hard to believe they’re no more than six years old, as Boost technology by The Three Stripes Brand was introduced in 2014 at Foot Locker. Today, adidas and Foot Locker have announced the next chapter of their partnership: BOOST WORLD.
Described as “the home of energy at Foot Locker,” BOOST WORLD recognizes that adidas’ marquee cushioning is now as important in the lifestyle space as it was in the performance realm in 2014. The campaign’s launch collection – “Energy Of Color” – gives sneakerheads seven new options of the Ultra Boost DNA and NMD R1. Among them, “Linen,” “Supcol” and “Lush Red” join the hundreds of colorways that have already been embraced by global sport, fashion and youth cultures. And to commemorate those who helped evolve the Ultra Boost and NMD into what they are today, the inaugural BOOST WORLD collection has pulled fan-favorite two-tone arrangements from the adidas archives, which will surely fuel future collections from this partnership.
You can find BOOST WORLD at Foot Locker and Champs Sports outposts all across the U.S. and at Foot Locker Canada. The first releases under the “Energy Of Color” collection are available right now at FootLocker.com and priced at either $130 USD (NMD) or $180 USD (Ultra Boost).
Elsewhere under the adidas umbrella, the Yeezy Desert Sage launches tomorrow, March 14th.
